BayLISA OpenSolaris "Short But Cool" Video Available

I just was sent a link to the video of my presentation at BayLISA in Decemeber: Check it out on Google Video. Apparently I did ok. I look confident anyway, so thats a bonus. It was fun to do. Althought I didn't cover nearly as much as I wanted to but no one else did either. I will say that the most interesting thing to me in this video is seeing what I look like from the back. I'm one of those people who never looks in mirrors so watching a video like this is a "woah, is that what I look like?" event for me too.

Nice presentation! I have been following your blog for the last year because you are not and employee of Sun and feel so strongly about Solaris. I have shaerd this presentation with all my fellow coworkers in an attempt to get them to update to SOlaris 10.

Actually, Francois, I had the exact same question! I don’t think I move that much. I was a little nervous and being in front of a crowd makes you a little more animated than usual, but I looked like I was doing Yoga or something. :)

Thanks for sharing the video, it did clarify some points. I only wish that they’d let you get deeper into the stuff that mattered. There was always someone telling you that you had 2 minutes before the next speaker and that sucked! Anyway, I’m happy that you’re involved in the whole OpenSolaris stuff, I think the perspective of a real sysadmin is a must in developing the future OS for our shops. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your insights with us.
